Absolutely disgusting stay. Unfriendly staff with the personality of a pimple. My room smelt like mold and I left with a sore throat from the exposure. Countertops/ dresser was sticky almost like maple syrup was tacked on it. Stains on the walls/ lamp shade. Back curtains had a miscolor to them like maybe someone smoked in the room and it caused distress. My bathroom towels weren't clean, purple shampoo on it from the looks of the color. The mini fridge toppled over everytime you opened it. Non secure internet usage. My main concern was the smell, we felt we already paid for our room and had no other choice and thought complaining wouldn't do anything and when I booked told it was the last pet friendly room. We travel often with our dogs, never been in a room this gross. Personally feel it needs to be inspected. Also very much feel overcharged for what we had to deal with. & given the amount over the phone and then told in person "additional $100 for security deposit, and extra $75 for the dogs. Everything was good. We would stay here again no problem. It's a great location, especially for the summer it's a straight shot to the boardwalk and beach. It is a cheap.hitwl but just know that as a result the rooms are a little uninviting and dim, but overall it was a good hotel. We just needed a place to crash when we weren't with our party, and it served that purpose well.

I rarely leave reviews and am generally not a hotel snob, but if I could give less than one star, I would. This was a booking of location convenience for a family wedding. Check is was easy, the lobby was well kept. Although my daughter and I walked in with two police officers responding to a call at the hotel in the middle of the day. Once sent to an alternate entrance for easier access to our room it went down hill from there. The hallways smelled like animals and body odor, carpets were stained, the tile was visibly dirty. I tried to look past this as it is a pet friendly hotel. But upon entering our room, I was bombed with air freshener attempting to cover stale cigarettes, thank god for the sliding door to keep fresh air moving in the room. The bathroom was visibly dirty and barely kept together, there were screws hanging out of fixtures, the mirror was completely crooked. The patch and paint jobs were sloppy and unprofessional. The non working vent fan in the bathroom was caked with dust. We were only given 2 shower towels for a registered family of five.
